Wrayfield Dog Agility Club is based in Stotfold on the North Hertfordshire / Bedfordshire border.
We meet for practice on Sunday mornings and run 2 sessions.
The first session is an 8:30am meet (attendees putting the equipment out) for a 9:00am start, and the second session is a 10:00am meet for a 10:15am start (attendees have the the honour of packing away).
All sessions take place outdoors in a fully enclosed field, and as such, we are at the mercy of the Great British weather - however, being made of stern stuff (we are doggy people after all), we train in most conditions, but occasionally if the weather gets too bad, the sessions will be cancelled.
To find out if the sessions are running or not, go on to our Facebook page, where a message with that day's plans will be posted around 7:30am.
The club welcomes dogs of all abilities from 12 months old.
Many of our dogs are rescues and the training is a great help in developing their confidence (and the owners'), and offers a great opportunity for increasing their socialising skills by mixing with the other dogs and people, and strengthening the bonds and trust with their owners.
We would love to see all members of your family get involved but, due to insurance restrictions, any children that you bring do have to be over 5 years old.
We train for fun and although we do not train to any competition standard, some of our dogs have gone on to compete.
Throughout the summer months we provide demonstrations at local fetes and shows and our 'have-a-go' sessions raise money for various local charities.
Details of this year's 'have-a-go' sessions can be found on our Events page.
Our main aim through agility is for you to build a fantastic relationship with your dog/s, and to increase their confidence (and yours) whilst having loads of fun!
If the above has piqued your interest, and you would like to join, or want more information, then pop along to the Contact Us page and fill out our form, we will then contact you back with further details.
